SpamBlocker supports the reassignment of Spam/Trash mailbox. Some IMAP mail servers offer machine learning spam filtering capabilities using mailbox data. When the spam mailbox matches between SpamBlocker and the mail server, SpamBlocker can share its spam filtering results with the server, ultimately reducing spam mail traffic.

SpamBlocker provides a comprehensive spam filtering feature. It can effectively filter out spam (junk mail) from incoming messages using a spam filter generated by its built-in machine learning engine. Moreover, SpamBlocker supports rule-based filtering by specifying sender's email address or subject substring. It is compatible with IMAP/POP3 and can only access Inbox, spam box, and trash box; however, it does not support sending emails.

For POP3 mail filtering to work correctly, SpamBlocker must be initiated before other mailers to prevent spams from being downloaded by others due to the lack of synchronization in POP3. The tool supports HTML image blocking but does not extend to SMS/MMS.

SpamBlocker follows an ad-free application model with no resident toolbar, ensuring a client area with an advertisement banner that is no narrower than other standard iOS applications.

How to Connect to a Mail Server: To connect, simply use your full email address as the login username and your account password. If credentials are unknown, contact the relevant organization or server personnel for login details.

Basic Operations:

• Pull down to Refresh/Long Press for reload & spam filtering
• Push up to download older mails at the bottom of message lists
• Tap/Swipe the navigation bar to navigate mailboxes
• Manage mail messages using toolbar options on the navigation bar
• Turn over mail messages by tapping/swiping the navigation bar
• Swipe to POP3 server to move a mail back
• Add mails to blacklist/spam learning data by swiping a cell

Spam Filtering: SpamBlocker creates a spam filter by learning from spam and ham messages in the INBOX. Follow these steps to create your filter:

1. Click 'Edit' in Monitor
2. Select several mail messages by tapping each table cell
3. Tap "SPAM" on the command bar
4. Repeat for "HAM"
5. 'Pull down to Refresh' or 'Long press on the navigation bar' initiates Machine learning and generates a spam filter.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 until around 16 spams and 16 hams are learned
7. After learning, turn on the spam filter switch in account settings
8. Check results in Monitor and refine as needed; re-learning will make your filter smarter
9. Repeat refining process until errors are minimized

Spam Rule Filtering: Activate the "Spam Rule switch" at account settings after setting rules.
